Crosspoint of India is part of RUSA (Rural Uplift Service Association of India). RUSA was registered as a registered trust in 1996. The vision for RUSA began many years before in the heart of Balurao Pawar. After working and being a founding member of several Christian organizations he begin to have the vision for a minstry that meets the needs of the people in Nagpur.

When RUSA was registered in 1996 it was a difficult time financially for the organization. They had no donors, no funds and no prospects. For years Balurao Pawar prayed and continued to work a job to provide for his family.
